What is the SSC?
The "SSC" stands for Sports and Social Club. The club is based at the Bristol office, the Hub, and is run by volunteers from each of the departments.
We run a range of sports throughout the year with everything from yoga classes to rugby fixtures. If you would like to find out more about sports and get involved, simply check out our Sports page.
In addition to sports we put on dozens of social events throughout the year and with everything from wine tasting to go-karting there really is something for everyone. All our sports and events are open to everyone but SSC members receive great discounted rates.
How is it funded?
The SSC is funded by you! All members of the SSC pay a tiny £2.00 a month fee which is taken directly from your pay pre-tax.
Join the SSC
Becoming a member of the SSC couldn't be easier, all you have to do is register on-line here. The Treasurer will then contact you to finalise the membership process.
Your Account
If you are a member of the SSC then you already have an online account where you can sign up for events and automatically receive your members' discount.
The default login for all members is:
- Username: Staff Email
- Password: Staff Number
You can change your password once you have logged in should you want to.
Who runs the SSC
The team that organises events and sports for the SSC is a group of volunteers formed from Atkins Employees. Our team gives up their own time and works hard all year round to put on great events and sports for all you lucky people. If you want to see who is on the committee then you can Meet The Team.
